What is The Thrive Programme?
The Thrive Programme® is a transformative, evidence-based course designed to empower you with the skills, insights, and resources needed to take back control of your life. It isn’t therapy; it is a highly effective, easy-to-understand educational programme that teaches you how to bring out the best in yourself.
No matter your background or past experiences, everyone has the capability to realize their potential. Through structured study and guided sessions, you will gain the self-awareness required to master your thinking, build resilience, and overcome anxiety, stress, low confidence, or emetophobia for good—even if other treatments have failed you in the past.
To ensure everyone gets the right support, the programme is tailored by developmental age and specific needs:
The General Thrive Programme: Ideal for managing stress, anxiety, and building strong and healthy self-esteem and social confidence.
The Emetophobia-Free Programme: A specialised, world-renowned approach to overcoming the fear of vomiting.
Tailored for All Ages: Both the General and Emetophobia-Free Thrive programmes have tailored workbooks for children (8–12), teens (13–17), and adults (18+).
How it was created?
The programme was born in 2005, when psychotherapist Rob Kelly—utilising over 25 years of clinical experience — began developing and testing a variety of simple psychological interventions alongside researchers at Cambridge University.
By studying the distinct cognitive and emotional skills that separate "thrivers" from "non-thrivers," he created a highly structured training manual. Since then, thousands of people have used this formula to overcome symptoms that held them back for years, trading the feeling of a daily "treadmill" for a life where they feel truly alive.
